Why IWU...
I chose IWU because I felt this was the place I would be able to turn into the best version of myself for God and for others. Seeing how the players and coaching staff have grown into the men they are, I knew this would be the place for me.
IAm3 is...
IAM3 Is putting God first, others second, and yourself third. To me, If you do things in that order, it creates a sense of selflessness. It is showing care and love to everyone, even when no one is watching, even if it’s not reciprocated, even if you don’t get a reward afterwards. It is a willingness to always be third.
Fearless is...
To be fearless means to have a sense of fluidity, and to maintain one’s self in the face of uncertainty. To look at the chips stacked against your favor, and to never waver. We live in a world of endless possibilities. So there’s a lot of scary possibilities that exist, but I find it somewhat foolish to fear what we have yet to see and know.
The IWU coaching staff is...
The coaching staff is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They’re awesome, in one word. They’re men of God that lead by example. I first realized this when the coaches did the workouts alongside us, but I also saw how they live with an IAM3 and Fearless mentality. To me, the coaches are living examples of the men we could become. And I find that to be inspiring
